🚨 Shocking Incident in Neath 🚨

A man who viciously assaulted his fiancé, leaving her with severe injuries, including a fractured eye socket, has been jailed. Alexander Patton, 32, was sentenced to 24 months in prison for actual bodily harm after a shocking night that left his partner “bleeding, battered, and bruised.”

It all began during a gathering in Swansea when Patton accused his fiancé of dancing with other men. In a fit of rage, he forced his way into the bathroom where she had locked herself, grabbed her by the throat, and brutally attacked her. After banging her head against the shower floor multiple times, he then lied to police, claiming she fell down a step.
The victim, whose injuries required hospital treatment, shared her ordeal in court, describing the emotional and physical scars, and her disbelief over being betrayed by someone she once loved.
Despite Patton’s defence pointing to a troubled upbringing, the judge deemed the assault too severe for anything other than immediate custody. Patton’s deceitful behaviour only intensified the severity of his crime, resulting in his prison sentence.
