Packed with tricky junctions, bus stops, and turn-offs without slip-roads, this dual carriageway might be a mere 70mph zone, but its safety record is more alarming than reassuring. Did you know, back in 2018, six crashes happened in just one day?
Recent data underscores the grim reality: 186 collisions between August 2024 and July 2025. 🚑 Particularly troublesome is the short four-mile section between Cross Hands and Pont Abraham Roundabouts, accounting for 40 incidents in just a year.
