In the wake of a shocking knife attack on a train near Huntingdon Station, the Transport Secretary has announced an increased police presence on railway stations and trains to reassure passengers. Following the disturbing incident on Saturday night (1st November), two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Happily, there’s no indication of a terrorist motive.
Eleven individuals required hospital treatment, with two still in critical condition. 🙏 Our thoughts are with them and all affected. The Transport Secretary praised the swift response of emergency services, staff, and public cooperation during this distressing time. 🚔👏
