Mark your calendars for Sunday, 23rd November at 5pm, because Swansea’s Christmas Parade is back with a brand new twist! We’re embarking on a magical new route that’s sprinkled with festive surprises and set to deliver more enchantment than ever before.
Kick-off begins at the iconic Guildhall, where Santa himself will cast a festive red glow upon the building. Following this dazzling start, a mesmerising fireworks display will light up the twilight sky, setting the scene for an unforgettable parade.
The new journey winds through St Helen’s Road, the Kingsway, College Street, Castle Street, and Caer Street, culminating in a grand finale along Princess Way. Expect a vibrant medley of over 40 community groups, jaw-dropping floats, and beloved characters from fairytales and comic books – yes, Cinderella and Rapunzel are making appearances!
Don’t miss the lively entertainment on two dynamic stages: one at the Guildhall and the other outside the Dragon Hotel, which will feature a brand new Christmas tree. As we journey through the streets, Santa will flip the switch, illuminating the city’s Christmas lights, followed by another enchanting fireworks display.
