Exciting transformation ahead in Ynysybwl! 🎉 The historic Presbyterian Chapel, dating back to the late 1800s, is set to become a stunning residential space. This charming stone beauty, located on Glyn Street, will be converted into five modern apartments—three two-bed flats and two one-bed flats. 🏠✨

Rhondda Cynon Taf Council has approved the plans, aimed at breathing new life into the old chapel while preserving its iconic architectural charm. The design by Dennis Hellyar Architects ensures that the chapel’s attractive features, including its turreted corner and decorative central window, remain untouched. Two recessed balconies and dormer windows are also part of this exciting development.
Although there were concerns raised by local councillors regarding potential parking challenges, the council deemed the project a positive move. It’s a fantastic opportunity to safeguard this beautiful building and make it useful once again!
