šØ **Terrifying Carjacking Ordeal in Pembrokeshire** šØ

In a shocking incident, a 48-year-old driver faced a nerve-racking encounter with Kal Bowen, a 22-year-old wielding a claw hammer. The unsuspecting victim had just dropped off a friend in Manorbier when Bowen jumped into the passenger seat and threatened to “change his life” if he didnāt hand over money.

Desperate, the driver offered Ā£20, but Bowen wasn’t satisfied. Instead, he forced the driver to head to a nearby post office to withdraw more cash. To make things even more bizarre, he also demanded the victim buy him a four-pack of lager! š²
Afraid for his life, the driver complied but drove straight to the Tenby police station afterwards. The hammer Bowen used was later recovered, though he had initially tossed it into a field.
Swear heās a ābetter man than that,ā Bowen admitted to being at the scene but denied the robbery and threats. The court disagreed, and he was charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon. Despite past issues with drink and drugs, Bowen seems to be turning over a new leaf.
With a guilty plea, Bowen received an 18-month suspended prison sentence and must complete 180 hours of community service, plus a rehabilitation course. A five-year restraining order now prevents him from contacting his victim.
Letās hope this is a wake-up call for this Pembrokeshire lad!
