South Wales Police have confirmed that a 21-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries but has since been discharged. Meanwhile, David McCauley, 21, from Caerau, has been brought to court. He appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on November 10, facing serious charges including wounding with intent (section 18), threatening a person with a blade, and possession of a bladed article in a public place. He’s also charged with acquiring and possessing criminal property.

Currently remanded in custody, McCauley is set for another court date at Cardiff Crown Court on December 8.
