Tragedy struck at a children’s party on Sunday when a five-year-old boy passed away after a wall collapsed on him at a crazy golf venue in Sidcup, London. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, including the London Air Ambulance, the boy succumbed to his injuries in hospital. A six-year-old girl was also hurt in the incident but has thankfully been discharged.
The accident happened at Family Golf on Sidcup Bypass, which is now temporarily closed. The golf venue expressed their heartbreak and extended condolences to the young boy’s family, vowing to fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation.
The police and Local Health and Safety Inspector are looking into the cause of the collapse. While the investigation continues, the community is reeling from the loss and sends love and support to the grieving family.
