📢 Big News from Carmarthenshire! 🚨

Cllr Darren Price has suddenly resigned as the leader of Carmarthenshire County Council for “personal reasons.” While he’ll remain with Plaid Cymru as a councillor, the search is on for a new leader, which is set to be announced at a meeting on December 10, 2025.
Until then, the deputy leader, Cllr Linda Evans, will be stepping up to handle the leadership duties. Darren Price first took the helm in 2022 after the former leader, Emlyn Dole, lost his council seat. During his leadership, he tackled essential issues like climate change, cost-of-living challenges, economic regeneration, and quality housing.

The council is committed to continuing the progress on public transport, social care, education, and other critical services for residents.
Stay tuned for updates on the new leadership and what it means for the future of Carmarthenshire! 🔄✨
