Connor Sainsbury, a 21-year-old from Brynhyfryd, has been ordered to pay back thousands after being caught with a hefty stash of drugs! Police found 34kg of cannabis and 4kg of ketamine at his home, along with a collapsible baton. This all started when police suspected a firearms offence, leading them to his door.

Digging into his phone, authorities uncovered a treasure trove of messages related to drug dealing—revealing a network of supply from someone known as “Liverpool.” The two discussed trade quantities, prices, and quality of cannabis and ketamine, with business booming between July and October 2022.

Sainsbury’s salesmanship even extended to cocaine deals, utilising Snapchat to push his product. With talk of owed money hitting the £10,000 mark, it’s no surprise police doubled back to arrest him in June this year, seizing more gear during the raid.

A court hearing ruled he’d gained nearly £19,000 from his illegal activities but only has £2,369. Judge Matthew Porter-Bryant has given him a month to cough up the cash. If not, he faces an extra 24 months behind bars.

Having already been sentenced to over three years, it looks like Sainsbury’s dealing days are well and truly over. Let’s hope this serves as a stern warning for others dabbling in the dangerous world of drug supply! 💊⚖️
