🏆 Big Blow for Wales Ahead of World Cup Qualifier! 🚫

Our boys in red pulled off a much-needed win against Liechtenstein, but it’s come at a cost. Ethan Ampadu and Jordan James, both key midfielders, are out for the upcoming do-or-die clash against North Macedonia after picking up yellow cards in the last match. Ampadu, who led the team as captain, was slapped with a controversial booking late in the game. He was left fuming, saying he didn’t even touch the opponent: “I am very gutted. We needed the win and got it, but it’s frustrating.”

James, who scored the winning goal, was also cautioned, meaning he too will sit out the crucial match in Cardiff. “You don’t think about it in the moment… I’m disappointed, but we’ve got enough in the squad to win it on Tuesday,” he shared.
With injuries already plaguing the squad, including Ramsey out of action, manager Craig Bellamy (who was also suspended for the Liechtenstein game) and assistant coach Piet Cremers will have to be creative with the lineup. Cremers is optimistic, saying the team will “adapt” and tackle the North Macedonia challenge head-on.
It’s all to play for as Wales aim to clinch second place in Group J and secure that all-important home semi-final in the March World Cup play-offs. The pressure is on, but our players are ready to rise to the occasion. Let’s get behind the lads and cheer them to victory! 🏴💪
Come on, Wales! #TogetherStronger ⚽🔥
