🏆🏴 What a rollercoaster for Welsh football fans! With the World Cup qualifiers wrapping up tonight, Wales is in a great position. After a solid showing in the Nations League, we’ve secured a spot in the play-offs for the 2026 World Cup in North America. 🙌
Tonight’s showdown with North Macedonia is crucial. Both teams are battling for the runner-up spot in their group, sitting behind Belgium. If luck swings our way and we finish second, a home draw in March’s play-offs would be on the cards—a massive advantage, according to Craig Bellamy. 🔥
Bellamy didn’t mince his words: “Finishing second and having a home game is huge!” A home turf victory could really tip the scales in our favour, steering us closer to World Cup glory. ⚽
🌍 When is the crucial play-off draw? It’s set for Thursday, 20th November at noon in Zurich. Catch it live for free on FIFA+ or via the BBC website.
Mark your diaries: the semi-finals happen on Thursday, March 26, with the finals following on Tuesday, March 31. 🤞
As we dream of World Cup triumphs, let’s rally behind our team for the matches ahead. Wales, we’re in the hat, and it’s all to play for! 🏴❤️
Stay tuned and keep those fingers crossed! 🍀#WalesFootball #WorldCupPlayoffs #GorauChwaraeCydChwarae
