Evening rush hour turned into a nightmare for M4 commuters after a crash partially shut down the motorway in Swansea. 🚧 The eastbound lanes between J47 Penllergaer and J46 Llangyfelach were at a standstill, forcing drivers to reroute using the A48.
Traffic Wales reported: “All traffic temporarily held due to an accident. Emergency services on scene.” 🚔🚑
The situation is slowly improving, with delays now down to 10 minutes from a whopping 102 earlier. 🚦 But be prepared for some residual traffic as congestion clears.
For now, drivers are urged to use alternate routes via the A48 or through Felindre, though even these have been experiencing heavy hold-ups. 🛣️
