Ellen Campbell from Northern Ireland just welcomed not one, but THREE beautiful girls into her family, and she’s joking that they’ve nearly got a whole football team now! Just a couple of years after having twin sons, this amazing mum and her husband James got the surprise of their lives with the news of triplets. Meet the adorable Mabel, Sadie, and Lily, who joined brothers Finley and Malachy and turned this duo into a team of seven!
Born at 33 weeks on October 30, the little ones spent two weeks in the neonatal unit, cared for by the same wonderful team who looked after their older brothers! Ellen and James are beyond grateful for the fantastic staff at Ulster Hospital. As Ellen puts it, “The staff are like part of our family,” ensuring the girls thrived every step of the way. Talk about superheroes!
Ellen shares, “We thought we would have one more child, and then we were told there were three! It still doesn’t feel real.” Can you imagine the look on the midwife’s face when she saw not one, not two, but three little cuties on the scan?
For now, the little ladies are still sporting their hospital ID bands to help tell them apart. But with a bit of nail polish or those ID bands, this family is ready to navigate life with five kids under two! And while their parents are still finding their feet in this new phase, they’ve got loads of support from family.
Home is calling, and this family of seven can’t wait to all be together. The excitement is palpable, and we are just as thrilled for them. A huge cheer to the Campbell clan on their newest arrivals! 🎀👶👶👶🎀
