From this evening at 5pm until 5pm on the 21st, a dispersal order will cover a large part of the town. This enables officers to ask anyone likely causing trouble to leave the specified area under Section 35 of the Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014. It’s a key move to ensure the community stays safe and peaceful.

Sergeant Myfanwy Beaumont made it clear: “We don’t tolerate anti-social behaviour. Our officers are ready to act and will be more visible in the area. Let’s keep Bridgend a safe place for everyone.” 👮‍♀️

Parents, a word to the wise: Now’s a good time to chat with your kids. Encourage them to avoid getting involved in any activities that could be seen as disruptive. Let’s work together to make our community better for everyone! 🌟
