🚨 Massive Drug Bust Alert! 🚨

A seemingly ordinary garage in Newport turned out to be anything but when police uncovered an illegal Valium factory. Inside, officers found more than 200,000 pills worth over £250,000, alongside machinery used for making and packaging these drugs. But that’s not all—behind a picture frame, a hole in the wall hid a cannabis operation!

Four men, Barry Patrick, Leon Patrick, James Mosley, and Alun Yhnell, are now behind bars after their drug empire was dismantled by police. Barry and Leon’s homes also yielded £50,000 worth of cannabis. Talk about a bust!
This operation was not only about Valium. Among the illegal finds were MDMA Class A and Bromazolam Class C pills, highlighting the massive scale of this criminal venture. Sentences were handed down at Merthyr Crown Court, ranging from two years and seven months to three and a half years for their various offences.
Detective Inspector Ian Bartholomew shared that this has been a long and detailed investigation. He emphasised the importance of tackling serious crime, reminding us of the harm that drug dealing causes in our communities.
