🚗 **Traffic Chaos on the A470 Today!** 🚗
Heads up, folks! Commuters along the A470 southbound are facing some major delays this morning. Due to lane closures from Upper Boat to Nantgarw, journey times could be up to 53 minutes longer. 🕒
⚠️ **What’s Happening?**
Essential roadworks have run over schedule, leaving one lane closed this Wednesday morning. Traffic Wales has apologised and assured drivers that contractors are working as fast as they can to wrap things up.
🗨️ A frustrated commuter shared their experience on X, stating, “Taking nearly three hours to get to work is no joke! Why wasn’t this scheduled after rush hour?” Traffic Wales responded with apologies and explained the overnight work delay.
🚧 Please allow for extra travel time if you’re hitting the road today. Stay safe out there, and let’s hope it clears up soon!
🔄 Keep an eye out for more updates on the situation and plan your journey accordingly. Remember patience is key on the road. Safe travels! 🛣️
