🎱 Ronnie O’Sullivan Skips Major UK Tournament for a Sunny Life in Dubai! 🇦🇪 ✈️
Snooker legend Ronnie O’Sullivan has revealed he’s skipping the upcoming Masters as he embraces life under the Dubai sun! Ronnie’s got his reasons – tax rules limit how long he can stay in the UK each year, so he’s being strategic about his tournament choices. 🇬🇧📅
After relocating to Dubai earlier this year, Ronnie’s aiming to hang out more in China and Saudi Arabia, playing the snooker scene there. He still plans on gracing us with his skills at the UK Championship soon. 🎱🏆
Ronnie shared with SportsBoom that the travel logistics and jet lag were tough, leading to his move. “It’s not a short flight, and expenses add up,” he said. In Dubai, it’s easier to hop over to nearby competitions, saving him time and energy.
Despite the changes, Ronnie isn’t ruling out making more appearances in the UK next season. For now, he’s prioritising comfort and proximity, with a touch of sunshine. Even his pups are enjoying their new sun-soaked life, and they’re absolutely loving it! 🐾🌞
Let’s wish Ronnie all the best as he navigates this new chapter. Can’t wait to see him back playing on UK soil soon! 🤞💫
