🚨 Rugby Emergency! 🚨

The Dragons are in a bit of a bind as they gear up to face Irish powerhouses Leinster in the United Rugby Championship this Friday. A hooker crisis has hit hard, with injuries and national call-ups leaving the squad stretched thin. But don’t sweat it, fans! Will Austin, a promising former Wales U20s player, has been roped in on a short-term deal from Sale Sharks to fill the gap.

Oli Burrows, at just 23, is stepping up for only his second professional start, with the 21-year-old Austin ready to make his debut from the bench. Burrows showed spirit the last time he faced Leinster, so let’s hope he brings that same energy to the field again!
Austin’s no stranger to the challenge, having played against Leinster as a loanee for the Ospreys earlier this year. Head coach Filo Tiatia is thrilled to have him on board, thanking Sale Sharks for their cooperation and support.
Amid all this, the Dragons are also missing key players like Aaron Wainwright, Ben Carter, Chris, and Rio Dyer, who are on Wales duty. But fear not! Cai Evans steps in on the wing, while David Richards covers the outside centre as new faces join the line-up.
👟 Line-Up:
– **Dragons**: O’Brien (capt); C Evans, Richards, Owen, Anderson; De Beer, R Williams; Kelleher-Griffiths, Burrows, Hunt, S Davies, Screech, Woodman, Young, Martin.
– **Replacements**: Austin, W Jones, James, Douglas, Lewis-Hughes, Armstrong, Westwood, E Rosser.
💥 Leinster, brace yourselves! It’s going to be a massive test, but the Dragons have heart and grit to spare. Let’s rally behind them and show our support!
