🏉 Exciting weekend ahead for Welsh rugby fans! All four Welsh regions are taking the pitch, bringing a mix of fresh faces and seasoned pros. Here’s the lowdown:
🔴 Scarlets are embracing youthful vigour with prospects Jac Davies and Mac Page leading a dynamic backline against Glasgow Warriors. The return of captain Josh Macleod and hooker Ryan Elias adds crucial experience, setting the stage for an intense match in Llanelli.
🐲 Over at Rodney Parade, the Dragons have called on young hooker Will Austin to tackle a lineup depleted by injuries. Despite missing stars Aaron Wainwright and Rio Dyer, Mackenzie Martin’s comeback in the back row promises some added grit to their game against Leinster.
🦢 The Ospreys are adapting to life without Adam Beard, pairing debutant Ryan Smith with Huw Sutton at lock for the clash in Edinburgh. With skipper Jac Morgan injured and Dewi Lake on Wales duty, Jack Walsh and Sam Parry will co-captain, leading a squad eager to prove their mettle.
🔵 Cardiff face a front-row crisis, signing Bath’s Max Pearce on a single-game loan for their trip to Parma. This necessity has paved the way for new centre Cornel Smit to make his competitive debut, with academy talents Ioan Emanuel and Harri Wilde also stepping up to fill the void left by international duties and injuries.
Whether it’s battling league champions or showcasing emerging talent, this weekend’s matches promise thrilling action and unexpected challenges. Who are you rooting for? Let us know your predictions! 🏆🏈
