🚨 Police Flood Maesteg Senior Citizens’ Lodge 🚨
Talk about unexpected drama! Last night, what was thought to be a “potential riot” erupted outside the Garth senior citizens’ lodge on Bridgend Road, Maesteg. But before you imagine pensioners running amok, here’s the real scoop: it was a heated argument between two groups of charity trustees that spiralled out of control.
Neighbours were shocked to see around TEN police vehicles rushing to the scene, with crowds gathered outside. Initial reports to the emergency services painted a picture of chaos.
However, upon arrival, police discovered it was a misunderstanding. The scene may have been messy, but no criminal activity has been identified. Phew!
Kudos to the South Wales Police for their swift response! Stay tuned for more updates, and don’t forget to share your thoughts below. 👇
