π§οΈπ§οΈ Heads up, Wales! Big rain on the way! π§οΈπ§οΈ

This Saturday, brace yourself for some serious downpours across Wales. The Met Office has issued multiple weather warnings, with a yellow alert in place from 6am to midnight. Another one’s coming for Monday too, starting at midnight and lasting until 3pm.

Here’s where the rain’s planning to crash the party: Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Neath Port Talbot, Newport, Pembrokeshire, Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea, Torfaen, and the Vale of Glamorgan.
Expect heavy rain, up to 50mm in places on Saturday. Over the hills, we’re talking 60-80mm possible! Come Monday, more rain will splash down on South Wales, especially if youβre on those high grounds like Bannau Brycheiniog.
π¨ And it’s not just rain β strong winds are tagging along, especially on the coast.
