🎉 Cardiff Triumphs With Bonus Point Win! 🏉
Cardiff Rugby’s grit and determination shone through as they soared to a 29-14 victory over Zebre in Parma, despite missing a whopping 15 players due to international duties and injuries. This impressive win catapults them to the top of the United Rugby Championship table. 🔝
Star of the match was Cardiff’s hooker Dafydd Hughes, who stormed through with a hat-trick of tries, proving unstoppable in his element. Hughes wasn’t the only try-scorer, as Taine Basham also made it to the scoreboard. Kicking contributions from Ioan Lloyd and Harri Wilde added crucial points, ensuring Cardiff left with that all-important bonus point.
Zebre fought back with tries by Giovanno Licata and Marco Zanon, but it wasn’t enough to stall the Welsh side. Cardiff’s defence was rock-solid, even under Zebre’s pressure spells. Despite a yellow card setback, Cardiff held their ground, with Basham sealing the game with another try.
This victory was a testament to Cardiff’s depth and resilience. Shoutout to everyone who stepped up and made this win happen! 💪❤️
