TV host Laura Woods has reassured everyone on Instagram after a shocking on-air incident. During Monday night’s live football coverage of the England Lionesses’ match against Ghana, the 38-year-old presenter fainted. Talk about a scary moment!

Fortunately, quick-thinking colleagues Ian Wright and Anita Asante were on hand to help before the broadcast swiftly cut to commercials. Katie Shanahan seamlessly took over hosting duties, letting viewers know that Woods was “doing okay,” while her fiancé, Adam Collard, also chimed in online to calm worried fans.
In her own words, Laura later addressed the situation online, saying, “Gosh that was a bit weird. Sorry to worry everyone, I’m ok, the wonderful paramedic at Saints have said it’s probably a virus, just need a bit of rest and rehydration.” She expressed gratitude to her ITV colleagues and embarrassment over the incident but reassured fans she’s on the mend.

ITV shared her message on social media, wishing Laura a speedy recovery. Her partner Collard also updated supporters, confirming she’s in good hands. Fans poured in with well-wishes, applauding her colleagues’ fast response and hoping for her quick return.
What a night it was! Let’s all wish Laura a swift recovery and look forward to seeing her back on our screens soon! 💬⚽️
