Heads up, Cardiff drivers! This month, a brand new 20mph speed camera is being activated on Wellington Street. It’s all part of a plan to keep our roads safer by encouraging everyone to stick to speed limits.
Starting on Tuesday, December 16th, GoSafe will be processing any offences captured by this new camera. For the first four weeks, they’re offering advice letters instead of fines, giving drivers a friendly nudge to stay within limits. Only a one-time offer though, so pay attention!
Most of us aim to drive safely, but it’s easy to lose track of changing speed limits. Regularly zooming past without noticing could mean risking points on your licence – and no one wants that!
GoSafe, the largest road safety partnership in the UK, is dedicated to reducing accidents and saving lives through education and strict enforcement when needed. They run all sorts of cameras including fixed, average speed, and mobile enforcement.
