🚨 Traffic chaos on the M4! 🚨
Wednesday evening brought major disruption on the M4 in South Wales after a seven-vehicle pile-up between Junction 33 (Pontyclun) and Junction 32 (Coryton Interchange). South Wales Police received reports shortly before 4.35pm, and by 6pm, the motorway had become a parking lot! Drivers found themselves stuck for over two hours as congestion stretched back to Junction 34 (Miskin).
Not only was the eastbound side at a standstill, but the westbound side experienced slowdowns too, thanks to curious onlookers. Even the A4232 saw long queues as it approached the incident site.
The good news? The motorway was reopened by 7pm, and thankfully, there were no reports of injuries.
