🚨 **Dangerous Knife Offender Back in Jail** 🚨

Meet Michael Mathews, a 56-year-old with a concerning history. Having been given a life sentence for stabbing three people at a party back in 2013, you’d think that would be the last we’d hear of him. But Michael recently made headlines again!
While on licence, he whipped out a carving knife during a heated argument, threatening a woman outside a block of flats in Swansea. Michael was spotted on CCTV and tried to flee the scene, ditching the weapon as he ran. Thankfully, the police quickly caught up with him.

Back in 2013, Michael’s violent attack at a New Year’s Eve party led him to prison. He caused brutal injuries, later realising he had targeted the wrong house. Released after serving nine years, it seemed he was on the path to rehabilitation.
In court this time, it was told Michael swung the knife at the woman in a tense altercation. While the woman didn’t press charges, the evidence spoke volumes. His legal team mentioned his mental health struggles and how he felt remorseful for his actions.

Judge Paul Hobson noted Michael’s disturbing pattern of knife violence, emphasising that this incident continues that troublesome history. Consequently, Michael’s sentence is now two more years behind bars, with the Parole Board to decide when, or if, he’s fit to return to society.
Stay tuned and stay safe, everyone. It’s unsettling to see familiar names in such distressing stories, but let’s keep the conversation going in the comments below. 🔪👉 #CrimeWatch #StaySafe #JusticeServed
