πβ½οΈ The FIFA 2026 World Cup Draw is almost here! Excitement is in the air with just 188 days to go until the grand tournament kicks off across the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Football fans, mark your calendars for this Friday! ποΈ

Join us as Wales finds out who they might face at the world’s biggest football event. The draw begins at 5pm GMT (12pm ET) in Washington D.C. Even though Wales still need to make it through the play-offs, theyβll discover their potential opponents, and there’s a lot at stake, especially in the upcoming semi-final against Bosnia & Herzegovina in March. Victory there could lead to facing either Italy or Northern Ireland in the play-off final. Fingers crossed for the lads! π€

Harry Wilson and the team are keen to make it to back-to-back World Cups after their adventure in Qatar. π
πΊ How can you tune in? Itβs easy and free! Watch the draw live on FIFA.com, FIFA’s YouTube channel, or catch it on BBC and BBC iPlayer. In the US, itβs available on Fox and Fubo.
Here’s how the draw works: 48 teams, including placeholders, will be sorted into four pots based on FIFA world rankings. Teams are drawn into 12 groups, but with specific rules β no teams from the same pot facing each other and special rules for teams from the same confederation. With the expansion to 48 teams, the best third-placed teams in the groups will also have a shot at glory in the new round of 32.
Should Wales make it through, potential opponents span from football giants in Pot 1 like England, Spain, and Argentina, to other contenders across Pots 2 and 3 like Croatia and Japan. ππ
Stay tuned for more updates and let’s cheer on Wales for their road to the 2026 World Cup! π₯³π#WorldCup2026 #WalesInTheWorldCup #FootballFever
