🔍 Shocking Scam Alert! A care home manager has been caught in an outrageous plot to steal £178k from an elderly resident. Rita’s estate included her £150k house and £28k in savings, all forged into a sham will. Presented just a day after Rita’s passing in 2021, the will falsely named Mrs Walker and Slaney-Summers as the primary heirs.

The fraudulent scheme came undone thanks to the sharp-eyed vigilance of Rita’s cousin, Verna Woolley, who spotted the discrepancies and alerted authorities. It turns out, Slaney-Summers also siphoned off £6k from Rita’s accounts, claiming it was spent on flowers and essentials, but she was found guilty of theft.

Today, justice was served as Slaney-Summers was sentenced to five-and-a-half years in prison. The Walkers await their sentencing once Graham Walker is released from hospital.
