🌧️**Storm Bram Alert!**🌧️

Heads up, folks! The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for parts of south and mid-Wales due to Storm Bram, set to hit soon. This isn’t one to take lightly—conditions could pose a “danger to life”.
Expect torrential rain with 20-40mm in most areas and up to a whopping 100-120mm in the hills. That’s a lot of rain! Fast-flowing or deep floodwaters are likely, and landslides might occur on those already soggy slopes.

Areas affected include Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Carmarthenshire, and more. The warning kicks in at midnight, lasting until 10am on Tuesday.

Travel disruptions are expected—think train and bus delays and tricky road conditions. Spray and flooding might even close some roads. Power cuts and isolation for some communities could also happen. If you’re in these areas, prepare for the worst while hoping for the best.
Beyond the amber alert, there’s a yellow warning for rain from 6pm Monday to 2pm Tuesday across 20 other parts, and a yellow wind warning from 10pm Monday till 4pm Tuesday. Gusty winds will only add to the chaos.
Stay safe, stay informed, and let’s hope for a swift storm passage. 🤞🌪️
