Natural Resources Wales has sounded the alarm, issuing 10 flood alerts across the region. There’s a very real risk of flooding to homes, so stay alert.
Weather-wise, we’re facing multiple warnings today: A yellow warning for heavy rain is active until 2pm, affecting almost all of Wales. Plus, wind warnings are in place for large areas from west to north Wales. Most concerning is the Amber warning for rain, affecting south Wales until 10am. 🌬️🌧️
The Met Office advises that heavy rain will drench south Wales through Tuesday morning. Expect 50-75 mm overall, with some places seeing as much as 100 mm in just nine hours! Strong southerly winds could make things worse.
