🐾 Meet Brody: the gentle giant looking for a forever home! 🐾
Have you ever wanted to adopt a cuddly teddy bear? Well, Brody is pretty close! This massive 66kg Pyrenean Mountain Dog stands at an impressive six feet tall on his hind legs, earning him the endearing nickname of ‘small polar bear’. But don’t be fooled by his size; he’s all heart. 💕
Brody’s favourite pastimes include devouring fish pate, squirty cheese, and enjoying a good head scratch. At six years old, he’s a senior boy who loves lounging around and only needs a couple of 30-minute walks each day. If you have a tennis ball, you’ve got his attention! 🎾
Currently residing at Animal Concern Cumbria, Brody was lovingly surrendered by his previous owner, who believed he deserved more attention. He’s been pampered with a full de-matting spa day, and he’s turning back into the glorious fluff ball he was always meant to be!
Remarkably, Brody isn’t even the largest pup they’ve encountered. That title goes to an 88kg Mastiff Cross named Khan. But Brody’s impressive size means his future family will need a spacious sofa for him to cwtch up on and plenty of room outside for him to explore.
Brody is under assessment – he’s working on his canine social skills and making sure he’s ready for his new adventure. For those interested, stay tuned! His adoption profile will pop up on both the charity’s website and their social media pages in a few weeks’ time.
If you’ve got experience with big dogs and a soft spot for ones that might occasionally sit on you, Brody could be the perfect paw-mate! Follow for updates and get ready to welcome this polar bear-sized pooch into your home. 🐕❤️
