What do David Walliams, Alexander Armstrong, Dougray Scott, Joely Richardson, and Sophie Dahl have in common? They all came together for an amazing night at the annual charity carol concert hosted by the Lady Garden Foundation! This festive gathering wasn’t just any event; it was a heartwarming evening filled with beautiful readings, a children’s choir, and the enchanting voices of Glee Club UK.
Every year, over 21,000 women in the UK face a diagnosis of gynaecological cancer. That’s 58 lives changed every single day. 🎗️ This event passionately raises awareness and funds to fight these cancers, offering prevention, early detection, and treatment strategies.
Co-founders Tamara Beckwith Veroni and Jenny Halpern Prince have ambitious plans to shine a brighter spotlight on women’s health. Jenny shared their vision: “Our mission is to make a difference for all five gynaecological cancers: cervical, ovarian, womb, vulval, and vaginal. With better awareness and initiatives like the HPV vaccine and smear testing, we can protect future generations and detect cancers earlier.”
Exciting plans are on the horizon! In May, the foundation will debut their “Silent No More” garden at the Chelsea Flower Show, designed by award-winning garden designer Darren Hawkes. 🌼 And don’t miss out on their sporty challenge this June—bring your family and friends for a wonderfully active day out!
