Nationwide, the world’s largest building society, is sending out £50 “thank you” payments to many of its members. Here’s what you need to know to make sure you don’t miss your payday:
👉 Were you a Nationwide member on 30 September 2024?
👉 Have at least £100 in a Nationwide account, owed £100 on a mortgage, or completed a qualifying transaction in the past year?
If yes, you might be eligible for the cash! Most payments have been sent directly to bank accounts, but if you’ve received a cheque, it needs to be banked by 1 January 2026.
Think you should have received the cash but haven’t? Double-check your contact details! Log into your internet banking or app to update them just in case. Also, if you’ve moved abroad, Nationwide might have mailed you a cheque – so check your post!
🚨 Important: Contact Nationwide by 1 January 2026 if you haven’t seen your payment and think you should have. Use the internet bank, the app, or pop into a branch. They might need to verify your identity, so have your details ready.
