New Year, New Screen Time Goals! 📱🔇

Get ready for one of the buzziest resolutions in 2026—cutting down screen time! Nearly 1 in 4 Brits are planning to unplug from their devices and dive into real-life experiences, according to fresh research from MOCO Museum.

While the classic resolutions like hitting the gym (48%) and improving sleep (46%) are still in the spotlight, a rising number are seeking mindfulness (27%) and cultural connections. Fancy a dose of art and culture? 17% are keen on attending exhibitions, 16% want to learn more about art, and 15% plan to visit museums or galleries. 🎨🖼️
When it comes to disconnecting from the digital world, folks are opting for nature walks, jamming to tunes or podcasts, taking social media breaks, and enjoying art in person! Art not only offers a breather but also rekindles our human connections.
Kim Prins, Founder of MOCO Museum, highlights, “People are looking for real moments away from screens. Art is a sanctuary for reflection and reconnection, making cultural experiences crucial for a balanced lifestyle.”
