Michael Crofts, from Adamsdown, has come clean in court, admitting to dangerous driving along with offences like driving without insurance or a licence and failing to stop for the police. After appearing at Newport Magistrates Court, he’s been remanded into custody. His sentencing is slated for January 9 at Cardiff Crown Court.

The crash involved a silver Ford Fiesta near the Ely roundabout at about 3am. Both the driver and passenger, both 34, were taken to the University Hospital of Wales. Thankfully, they are in stable condition, and their injuries arenโ€™t life-threatening. After receiving treatment, both have been discharged.
