Shocking Incident: Son Assaults Mother Repeatedly While on Vacation

A family getaway in north Wales took a shocking turn when 33-year-old Joshua Capper assaulted his mum at a holiday cottage in Rhosgadfan. The incident began when a cocaine delivery was intercepted by Capper’s mother, sparking a heated argument. In a fit of rage, Capper reportedly said to his mum, “I f****** hate you” and lashed out, hitting her in the face five times. The disturbing event was halted only when another family member intervened.

The victim suffered bruising and swelling, requiring treatment at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. Initially, Capper even tried to claim his mother had inflicted the injuries on herself. However, the truth came out during a court hearing, and Capper admitted to assault causing actual bodily harm. On December 17, the judge delivered a three-month jail sentence, suspended for 12 months.

It’s a shocking reminder of how quickly things can escalate and the impact of substance-related issues within families. Let’s hope for healing and better days for everyone involved.
