Alright, folks, it looks like we’re in for a wet and windy one! The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain across Wales today, from 10am to 7pm. Expect heavy showers and possible travel disruptions throughout the day.
Fast flowing or deep floodwater might pose a “danger to life” in some areas, so be cautious out there. Flooding could also damage homes and businesses, with transport services facing cancellations and road closures.
The heaviest rain will hit around midday, with some places seeing up to 50mm, especially over the high grounds of South Wales and Dartmoor. Plus, strong gusts of 60-70mph could lash the exposed south coast, while gusts of 40-50mph might make things tricky inland.
Rain will spread northeast during the morning and afternoon, moving eastwards by evening. Keep an eye on the skies and your local weather forecasts.
