Not far behind, GB News stirred controversy with a “highly offensive” comment that sparked 1,391 complaints for linking the LGBTQ+ community to paedophiles—a definite no-no that violated broadcasting rules. 😤
Vanessa Feltz’s chat show also made waves with 1,866 complaints over an “misleading” breastfeeding discussion. Other notable mentions include Celebrity Big Brother and the Brit Awards for various contentious moments.
This year, a significant chunk of viewer dismay revolved around reality TV, accounting for more than half of the top 10 most complained about shows. 🤔 Love Island alone received nearly 14,121 complaints, making up a hefty portion of this year’s TV drama.
