🌟 DERBY DRAMA ALERT! 🌟
What a clash at the Arms Park last night! The Scarlets stormed past Cardiff with a nail-biting 21-17 win thanks to Gareth Davies’ stunning double, keeping fans on the edge of their seats. Cardiff had the chance to top the table and seemed poised for it, but the Scarlets weren’t having any of it! 🙌
Here’s the lowdown: Cardiff’s mighty Mason Grady and Josh Adams scored for the Blue and Blacks, but missed opportunities in the first quarter proved costly. James Botham saw two tries disallowed, leaving Cardiff short of the win they craved. 😬 Gareth Davies of the Scarlets stole the show, especially with a jaw-dropping 70-metre intercept. Just one of those moments that makes you go WOW! 😲
Cardiff fans were left with their hearts pounding as the match came down to the wire. Despite Cardiff’s pressure in the dying moments, the Scarlets held firm, handed a bit of ammo with several Scarlets seeing yellow throughout. Yet, they dug deep and kept Cardiff at bay as the final whistle blew. 💪
Cardiff seemed a bit off their usual unbeatable home form, not having lost at home since January. But the Scarlets’ resilience means they maintain their stronghold since 2019! Something had to give and it was Cardiff’s night this time. 😱
Now, Welsh rugby fans, what a festive showdown it was! Keep those scarves and coats ready, there’s more rugby excitement coming your way as the new year approaches! 🎉🏉
