🎉 What a whirlwind day for Scarlets coach, Dwayne Peel! 🚗💨 He managed to juggle family and rugby by leaving his sister’s wedding, guiding his team to a thrilling 21-17 victory over Cardiff, and then dashing back to the celebrations! 🎩💐

Peel found himself in a nail-biting match at Cardiff’s Arms Park, cutting it close with three yellow cards but leading the team to a well-deserved win. 🏉👏 “It wasn’t great for the nerves today,” admitted Peel. “We fought hard and seized our chances. It was a bloody good win.”
Despite his packed schedule, Peel couldn’t help but praise Gareth Davies, the 35-year-old sensation who scored two tries for the third year running at the Arms Park. “He’s always been brilliant,” Peel said. “He’s the ultimate professional, and he fancied a double—and delivered!”

With commitments tugging on both sides, Peel had to hit the road post-match to rejoin the wedding festivities in west Wales. “If I get back in time, I might have a cheeky Guinness,” he joked. 🍻

Meanwhile, assistant coach Albert van den Berg applauded Peel’s dedication: “He’s been outstanding for us. Despite a tough start in the URC, he’s kept us driven, reminding the team of our values and competitiveness.”
Hats off to Peel for balancing family and sport! 🎉 Here’s to the Scarlets’ second league win of the season and to Dwayne Peel, who proves you can have it all—just with a little help from the M4 motorway! 🚗🎊 #Scarlets #RugbyWin #FamilyFirst
