**Shocking Crime Uncovered in Cardiff!**

In a chilling tale of exploitation, 61-year-old Dafydd Evans was exposed as a pimp running a massage parlour in Cardiff, where he recruited vulnerable men from Brazil and Ukraine. Using a dating app, he lured them into prostitution, taking a hefty 50% cut of their earnings. This despicable operation masked under a facade of legitimate business saw Evans raking in an estimated £40,000.
The eyebrow-raising details emerged during his sentencing at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court. It was revealed that Evans advertised both massages and sexual services online, complete with prices and a menu of acts available for customers. He also provided the premises and supplies needed for these services, ensuring money discreetly passed through his bank accounts under fake business names.

But that’s not all—Evans was also found guilty of possessing indecent images of children and had plans to travel overseas to potentially commit more crimes. His dark history and sinister behaviour led the judge to label him a common pimp and potentially a paedophile, given the gravity of his offences.

Evans, who has a previous conviction for causing death by dangerous driving, was sentenced to 45 months in prison. He’s now subject to sex offender notification and a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for the next decade. Despite the shocking nature of his crimes, in prison, he claims to have turned over a new leaf by mentoring other inmates.
This case shines a light on the dark underbelly of exploitation and serves as a grim reminder of the vulnerabilities faced by individuals seeking better opportunities abroad. What are your thoughts on this troubling story? Let us know in the comments!
