💥 Major drug bust alert! 💥

A notorious crime gang has been busted, thanks to the arrest of a former police officer turned professional courier. Jeffrey Hickson, 62, was heavily involved in a massive £7 million heroin conspiracy that spanned the UK. Following a meticulous investigation dubbed Operation Solon, the operation revealed the underground work of this crime syndicate that was distributing heroin nationwide.

The downfall began when ex-cop Steven Creasey, 67, was pulled over in Scotland. Police found a secret compartment in his car carrying 5kg of heroin! His burner phone opened up a Pandora’s box of connections leading to other gang members, primarily based out of Liverpool.
Hickson, from Blyth, Northumberland, along with others like Christopher Brannan, 38, and Stephen Hopkins, 59, were pivotal in the supply chain. They worked with Kevin Thomson, 45, not only to distribute drugs but also to launder the proceeds. Raids unveiled a treasure trove of illicit finds including drugs and opulent jewellery.
Despite pocketing £16,000 from his dangerous ventures, Hickson is now ordered to pay back £8,000 following his conviction for conspiracy to supply heroin. He’s already serving a hefty 10-year prison sentence, but if he doesn’t pay up in three months, he could face an additional four months behind bars!
Incredible work by the Tarian police team for putting this criminal ring out of business. Let’s hope this sends a strong message to those involved in such destructive activities. 💪👮♂️
