🎉 Great news for Ospreys fans! 🎉 Our star fly-half, Dan Edwards, looks set to stay with the team, contrary to rumours linking him to Leicester Tigers. 🏉 Coach Mark Jones is optimistic that the club will retain key players, despite recent departures of Welsh captains Jac Morgan and Dewi Lake.
Jones shared, “There are promising developments behind the scenes, and soon we’ll have exciting news to share with our supporters.” Edwards has truly shone, especially in the recent win over the Scarlets. Jones can’t praise him enough: “Dan’s a dynamic player with a brilliant mix of running and kicking skills. At just 22, he’s mature beyond his years.”
Despite ongoing uncertainties in Welsh rugby, the team’s future looks bright. The Welsh Rugby Union has assured that contracts for players of national interest, like Edwards, will be honoured and safeguarded.
Jones remains confident, stating, “We’re creating an environment here that makes it hard for our players to want to leave. I’m sure we’ll have a formidable squad next season.”
Stay tuned for more updates and let’s keep cheering for the Ospreys! #OspreysRugby #DanEdwards #WelshRugby 🖤💛
