The legendary golfer, who just turned 50, is making headlines for his romance with Vanessa Trump, the former daughter-in-law of US President Donald Trump. It seems love is in the air despite a tough year for Woods on the course, dealing with injuries and time away from golf.
Woods wasted no time in letting the President know and reached out to him personally when the relationship began earlier this year. Trump, who’s been caught playing a round or two with Woods lately, had nothing but kind words for the couple. At a White House press conference, Trump expressed his happiness for both, saying, “I love Tiger and Vanessa. They have a great relationship.”
Vanessa, who shares five children with Donald Trump Jr., ended her marriage in 2018. Despite the previous breakup being touched by political controversies during Trump’s 2016 election campaign, it seems like she’s found joy with Tiger. Even President Trump remarked on the past, wishing his family well and recognising the accomplishments of his grandchildren.
Tiger shared his excitement on social media in March, posting lovely photos with Vanessa. “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!” he announced, asking for privacy as they begin their journey together.
While Trump Jr.’s eldest, Kai, is a budding golfer herself, attending the same school as Tiger’s kids, perhaps there’ll be some golf tips exchanged at family gatherings!
