🚔 **Community Revival on Heol Emrys!** 🚔

Street life in Heol Emrys, Penlan is experiencing a welcome change thanks to Operation Alfreton! Known for its challenges with anti-social behaviour and more, this Swansea area is getting a serious makeover with the help of South Wales Police, Swansea Council, and local partners. 🛠️🌿

Here’s what’s been happening:
– **Graffiti Gone:** All those unsightly scribbles have been wiped clean.
– **Abandoned Caravans Cleared:** Space at last!
– **Clean Sweep:** Over 100 dog waste bags removed and void property gardens tidied.
– **Safety Upgrades:** New doors for extra security and fresh voice entry systems.
– **Smooth Streets:** Potholes filled for your walk or drive.
– **Community Connections:** Extra police presence with PC Kieran Rees and an additional PCSO on patrol. Two ‘All On Board’ events have given locals a voice!
Inspector Nia Lambley explains, “Operation Alfreton’s goal is simple – better living conditions for our residents. We’ve seen a noteworthy drop in worries about anti-social behaviour and plan to keep it that way.”
But wait – there’s even more! Housing partners are rolling out new lighting audits and signage, and community feedback has been vital. Even with other concerns like crime and littering nudging up, the team remains vigilant, bringing health services and BAROD into the fold.
With plans for continued community events and a focus on cohesive living, Heol Emrys residents are hopeful for a brighter future. 🌟
Let’s celebrate this community coming together to create a safer, cleaner, and happier environment for all! 💪
