❄️ Brrr! A chilly weekend is upon us, and many parts of Wales could wake up to snow flurries or sleet today. The cold Arctic air brings a crisp start to January, with forecasters predicting the chilliest weather in north and west regions. Some spots could see temperatures drop to a frosty -3°C, while highs will only reach around 5°C.

🥶 The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow and ice, covering many regions from Anglesey down to Blaenau Gwent, Cardiff, and Swansea. Expect possible travel disruptions as icy patches may form on untreated roads. If you’re out and about, take care and wrap up warm!

☀️ While the west will experience wintry showers, the east promises drier conditions with a bit of sunshine to brighten your day, but don’t let that breeze catch you unprepared!

🌨️ Sunday and Monday will have similar chilly vibes – lots of cold, a sprinkle of winter sunshine during the day, and frosty nights. As we move into next week, brace yourselves for more wintry weather with potential rain and hill snow on Tuesday.
🌬️ According to Chief Met Office forecaster Neil Armstrong, the biting cold might stick around into the next week, so make sure you keep an eye on forecasts and plan ahead! Stay safe and warm, everyone!
