💧 Exciting News for Cardigan! 💧

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water is making waves in Cardigan with a whopping £20 million upgrade to the town’s wastewater treatment works! 🌊 This major project is set to reduce spills into the beautiful River Teifi, helping to keep our local environment clean and vibrant.
The work started last spring and is expected to wrap up by 2027. With new tech, like dissolved air flotation treatment and fancy new tanks, the improvements will help tackle pollution and manage wastewater more efficiently.

But that’s not all! As a salute to the community, Welsh Water is launching the Cardigan Community Fund – a £20,000 pot to support local projects. 🎉 Local groups can apply for grants ranging from £250 to £5,000. Whether you’ve got a dream project or just a way to spruce up your area, this is your chance to grab some funding!
Interested? Applications open from 5th January to 28th February. To qualify, your non-profit needs to be within Cardigan’s wastewater zone. Perfect for kicking off or boosting your community projects! 🌟
Let’s celebrate this investment in Cardigan’s future and make sure we all have a splash-tastic time! 💦
