Heads up, folks! An unfortunate event has led to a slurry spill affecting the Taff Bargoed River and its tributaries near Nelson, Caerphilly. The water is looking a bit off, but don’t worry, it’s being taken care of!
Natural Resources Wales (NRW) have jumped into action, quickly identifying and halting the source of the pollution. They’ve confirmed that the operator responsible is actively working to contain and clean up the spill.
💧 While you might still notice some discolouration in the water, rest assured that it will clear over time. NRW is on top of it, and they appreciate all those who swiftly reported the issue via their incident line. Your vigilance helps keep our environment safe!
Stay tuned for updates, and let’s keep hoping for a swift recovery for the river. 🌿
