With a packed crowd of 3,000 cheering him on, the atmosphere was electric as Curtis made his entrance, complete with a star-worthy introduction by the legendary MC, John McDonald. The goal? Hit 180 with just nine darts. Sounds simple, right?

But the darts world can be unpredictable. Curtis’s first dart landed a mere one, leading to a collective sigh from the enthusiastic audience. Despite giving it his all, he wrapped up with a total score of 89. Not quite the target, but hey, we all know the pressure can do funny things!

Although missing out on the massive prize, Curtis didn’t leave empty-handed. Generously, Paddy Power gifted him a cool £5,000 consolation. Plus, the exciting initiative has reportedly raised over £123,000 for a great cause!

In other news from the event, Luke Littler claimed his second consecutive title, defeating Gian van Veen with a commanding 7-1 finish.

Props to Curtis for stepping up and representing Wales with pride! 🎯💪 Let’s cheer for more exciting darts action and incredible charitable contributions! 🏆❤️
